Hotel Iron Horse Amsterdam

The hotel offers marvellous and lovely location to a restaurant's outdoor seating area. The staff are pleasant and deserve a 4-star rating.

The rooms were modern, bright for the rollaway bed, ideal for us. Everywhere there was fairly clean. The location was magnificent and lovely, close enough to downtown, transport, and shops, restaurants, bars, canals, cafes, museums and public transport.

The location was magnificent, really close to nightlife and tourist destinations, public transport tram nearby and the Leidseplein tram station which is also the central location for tons and tons of restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. The rooms were new-fashioned and charming little with heating, free beverages, for example, just what was needed.

I must comment on its central location - it was decent!

The property has a great location, close to the Leidseplein tram station which is also the central location for tons, the Van Gogh museum, and park and public transport tram nearby. Besides, you can walk to Saint Mary's Cathedral.

The hotel was a nice base for enjoying a great area, really close to a fresh market open from 10 am to 11pm, plenty of restaurants nearby and tourist destinations. They offered air-conditioned and spotless rooms with the tables of the breakfast area, a 140 double bed and fantastic views. The cost was £ 37. Central location was a plus. Also, the venue was set just a short stroll away from landscaped gardens.

Good and perfect location - close to Dean Village. Found in a good part of the town. Fast check-in, perfect little rooms with heating and free beverages plus great bathroom.

Gorgeous and pleasant hotel located in a lovely area so close to a lovely park and the airport and university. Marvellous location at a medium distance from Van Gogh Museum.

The location was particularly good and perfect with lots of pubs and restaurants right at the doorstep.

Everything was worth the price, personnel was very pleasant. We had a big bedroom. This accommodation had a central setting to where to take the tram to what time the earliest bus to take to airport.

The staff were extremely unhelpful, didn't expect that coming.

The venue's position was central. We spent evenings at The Burger Room, situated 500 metres from the hotel.

Make sure you stay in the family room for temporary storage of suitcases.

The staff were lovely all of the time. The location was marvellous, adjacent to Leidse Square, several trams and buses, and the Museum district, in a lovely area. After long day I visited Taiko Bar for a couple of drinks.

Functional hotel, stayed here for 3 nights and had a such great experience. We had modern and air-conditioned room that was kept clean daily and available with free beverages, coffee machine, for example. The pleasant staff provided all the necessary info.

It was in a central setting easy to get to from Schipol airport. Besides, it was near the restaurant next-door and concert hall.

Affordable hotel in a lovely area close to the bus stop to the airport or the tram to central station, several trams, and central Amsterdam. Impeccably clean and huge rooms with heating, temporary storage, for example and courteous staff. Central location, relatively close to Van Gogh Museum.

I was given perfect and immaculate room with a window on the tables of the breakfast area, heating on full blast, as example.

It had central location close to Leidseplein Square. It was across the quiet area. I ate at a pleasant restaurant for Thai and Indonesian cuisine. Good beds, the staff were efficient.

Everything was excellent at this boutique hotel. It was huge and pleasant to come back to. The staff members were pleasant and welcoming. Its location was central, 400 metres from Plan b Pool Hall. You could walk to supermarkets and shops. The stay was VERY COMFORTABLE.

Location just next door to central square as well as Leidseplein, which is very convenient. Informative staff on reception and elsewhere. Breakfast with fresh fruit;)))

There was no lift.

It also was near to the center. The twin room was immaculate, included shower facilities, a hair dryer and fresh towels. The bed was comfortable, best sleep ever.

Perfect location next to the Amsterdam Central train station. Set within just 1 mile, rijksmuseum is easy to reach. Hap Hmm was 5 mins walk away. We liked staying at iron horse.
