The Highland House

Spent 3 nights here with my partner, had a great stay overall. The triple room I stayed in was air-conditioned in the "basement" level. The staff was accommodating, impeccable service.

Terrific small place, it has marvellous and awesome location just next door to train station, red light district, and the main square and canals, and near singel. The staff are amazing, overall. Nothing to complain about, thanks very much for a fab stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed the place, it was fairly clean & the staff were fantastic and amazing. The location was brilliant and great, not far from train station, the center of most things walkable, and the City centre.

Nice quiet area, very central location near to all attractions by walking, absolutely amazing pizza restaurant and Amsterdam for a big Event. Large bedroom.

The bedroom was reasonably large and fashionable. It had a very comfy bed and included a clean bathroom a shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets. The location was very central, near to all tourist attractions, shops and restaurants and the center of most things walkable. Besides, this hotel was located 5 km away from Colnbrook West.

The staff we met were not so helpful.

Marvellous location so close to centrum in a shopping area. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the double room, plus central heating, an iron, and an electronic key card.

Modern moderately priced place with great and stunning location short walk to the very touristy centre and all shops.

The hotel offers good location close to the center. Great nearby places include Harlem Soul Food, we usually had drinks there.

Exceptionally clean place and unbeatable location, appreciated attentive and delightfully helpful staff. The hotel was in the centre of Amsterdam, and we were at a short distance from Museum Het Rembrandthuis. Plus, it was right by all the main shops, and main tourist attractions.

Our room was brand-new, air conditioned and equipped with very comfortable beds as well as the " basement " level.

It had prime location with access to X Bank nearby. I think the hotel was unique and well-run, would return there.

Appreciated how extremely comfy and unique the property was. The room was themed and fully-equipped, had a mini fridge, coffee, and a spacious wardrobe. The bed was really big, and the staff were amazingly helpful and very amiable. The location was best possible and prime, close to everything and the interior design was very modern. And it was also just next door to a charming and friendly pub as well as the center of all tourist attractions.

The venue is in the centre of the town. The rooms are themed and fully-equipped and generally offer a mini fridge, coffee, and a spacious wardrobe. Amazingly helpful staff is the reason I would return there.

It was reasonably clean inside. Really enjoyed good-sized and well laid out room with very comfortable beds, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The hotel was in a stunning position just next door to the train station for convenience, the centre of town and De Pijp. Had brunch in the Angus American Steakhouse, located nearby.

It has brilliant location to see an archeological museum. And it's near restaurants and a coffee house.

We were travelling to Amsterdam for celebrating anniversary. The location was incredible, within easy walking distance of Beurs van Berlage. The EXCEPTIONAL service and the attention to detail!

Living on a noisy street.

All the main sights, including begijnhof are adjacent to the hotel. All in all really great stay. Its just walking distance from a train station which was what I needed...

Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

Position so close to body worlds and just a walk down to red light district. It truly was a lovely experience.
